What does a Marketing Lead do?
To further accelerate the exponential growth of our Dutch ID and Lovens brands within the DACH region, we’re seeking a Marketing Lead. As the Marketing Lead DACH you’ll report to the Marketing Manager and be responsible for marketing our brands in that region (including Dutch ID and Lovens). This includes conducting regional market analysis, determining strategy, and managing resulting campaigns and marketing tools. You’ll also oversee budgets and resources, digital marketing, content, and communication within the DACH region. You’ll be part of a vibrant team of creative content creators and marketers.
Your responsibilities as a Marketing Lead:
- Regional Specialist: Analyze consumer groups, regional competition, and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
- Brand Strategy: Adapt branding strategies to meet the specific needs and culture of the region.
- Budget Alignment: Align the local marketing budget with the Marketing Manager.
- Cost Tracking: Monitor regional marketing costs.
- Marketing Tools and KPIs: Determine and select the right mix of marketing tools and key performance indicators.
- Campaign Management: Plan, implement, and evaluate local marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure consistent brand messaging and imagery across all regional marketing efforts.
- Communication: Manage B2C and B2B communications, including newsletters and website content.
- Team Leadership: Oversee the daily management, coaching, and development of the Marketing Coordinator DACH/FR.
- Event Execution: Ensure the smooth execution of fairs and events, occasionally assisting on-site and in our showroom if needed.

Who are you?
As the Marketing Lead, you are proactive and adept at identifying market opportunities quickly. Your creativity and out-of-the-box thinking lead to unique market concepts and plans. You have the ability and courage to think and act creatively in finding solutions. You can garner both internal and external support for actions, events, and communications. Since you’ll be responsible for the DACH region, it’s crucial that you understand and think in German, and know this culture and market thoroughly. This position is based in Beverwijk, Netherlands.
Your Qualifications:
- A degree in Communication, Marketing or Event management
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Excellent command of the German language, both spoken and written.
- Knowledge and experience in the German market.
- A good command of the Dutch or English language, both spoken and written.
- A valid driver’s license (Category B).
- Experience with social media is a plus.
- Familiarity with graphic software is a plus.
- An affinity for the bicycle industry.
